HOF PCH WTCH ATCH 45 Ranch Wind Roper PATDs, RTDsc, CDX, DNA-VP, AX, AXJ, CGC

Roper is a black-tri Australian Shepherd. He is 20.5" tall and weighs approximately 50 pounds. His OFA was rated as good (AS-10291G26M) and his eyes are CERF'd yearly (AS-3472/2000--75). His sire was WTCH Windsong's Falcon HOF (Fred), owned by Kathy Warren. Fred's greatest accomplishment was winning the High Combined award (cattle, sheep and ducks) at the Australian Shepherd Nationals. Roper's dam was WTCH The Sting of Twin Oaks HOF. Roper is one of the most titled Aussies in ASCA. He earned his Working Trial Champion (WTCH) in just 9 months. He also earned his Agility Trial Championship in the fall of 2004. He was one of only 4 dogs out of 83 to complete the gamble that day. It was the final leg he needed for his ATCH!

Roper also has his Performance Champion title. There are only a handful of Aussies in ASCA that have earned this title. When he completed his CDX in the fall of 2003, he also became ASCA's 8th Performance Champion.

Roper has had a very successful ASCA Nationals career. He competed in three stockdog finals (2000, 2001 and 2003). He was entered in Most Versatile Aussie four times and never placed lower than 3rd out of over 70 dogs each year. And to end his career, he was High Score Sheep at the very competitive 2004 Paso Robles Nationals.

Roper is a once in a lifetime dog. He has given us everything he's got and we are lucky to share our lives with him. He is now retired and is the social director of the farm.

Here are some pictures of Roper's kids. Due to their success, he is a Hall of Fame sire. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree!
