2010 Litter arrived March 15th!
We bred Jane to WTCH Twin Oaks Buccaneer RTDcs, OFTDs, DNA-VP owned by Tom Mhire. Buck is from the hugely successful cross of Billy x Stormy. He is a full brother to the following dogs: WTCH Twin Oaks Phoebe PATDcs, OFTDs, JS-O, GS-N, DNA-VP (2008 Stock finals qualifier and 4th place MVA) NEWSFLASH!!! Phoebe and Fiona Hibbard were the Champion Sheep Dog at the 2009 ASCA Stock Finals!!! WTCH Twin Oaks Texas Tornado of That'll Do RTDs, FTDs (HIT Sheep Texas Bluebonnet Futurity) WTCH Twin Oaks Jet (1st place Started Sheep and Cattle at the 2004 Nationals) Twin Oaks Yankee Arrow Spirit (1st place Open Sheep 2008 Nationals) This should be an exceptional working as well as versatility litter. Buck and Jane both have a lot of finesse on stock and do a great job of making their handlers look good. These pups should have a lot of rate on sheep and ducks, but be tough enough to work cattle. Both parents are structurally correct and have very nice Aussie type. Buck's full sister placed 4th in MVA at the 2008 Nationals in Las Vegas (beating Jane's mother, Pony.) Jane's brother, Cartman is a nationals MVA qualifier. In four national appearances, her father, Roper, never placed lower than 3rd place and her mother (Pony) has placed in the top ten at the nationals for 6 years in a row. We are very excited about this litter. Jane has been a dream to work and has a lot of natural talent. With minimal training, and at 5 trials, she finished her WTCH. In her first time out on Advanced sheep, she won both classes and picked up 4 finals points. In her first time in Advanced Cattle she qualified twice in one day....the only dog that weekend to do that. Jane is from the very successful PCH WTCH ATCH Roper and SVCH WTCH ATCH A-CH Pony cross. She has two ATCH littermates (with another one competing at the Elite level), one WTCH littermate and two ASCA major pointed littermates. Buck is his owner's first working Aussie and is very forgiving and easy to train. He finished his WTCH shortly before he was three and is now working on accumulating finals points for the 2010 ASCA Stockdog Finals.
